Prepare the documentsWe collect what's needed and fill in the application with you.
Submit and follow upWe submit the file and follow it up through inspection and approval.
Meter installationOnce approved, K-Electric installs the bi-directional meter and your exports start counting.

Net-metering rules and buyback rates are set by NEPRA and can change. We'll explain the current rules when we quote. Approval usually takes 2–3 weeks.
