Solar questions we hear every week
What size solar system do I need?
It depends on how many units you use. In Karachi, each kW of panels produces roughly 130 units a month on average. A home using 600 units a month usually needs around 5 kW. Try our solar calculator, then we confirm the size during the free site survey.
Which solar panels and inverters do you install?
We offer Tier-1 panels such as LONGi and Jinko Solar, and inverters from brands like Inverex, Solis and GoodWe. Your quote lists the exact brand and model of every part.
Do you help with net metering?
Yes. We prepare the documents, submit the application to K-Electric and follow it up until your bi-directional meter is installed.
Will solar work during load shedding?
A grid-tied system switches off when the grid goes down, for safety. To keep power during load shedding you need a hybrid inverter with batteries. We size the battery to what you want to run.
